Renishaw PH10T probe head
Renishaw TP20 probe
MCR20 stylus change magazine from Renishaw
PH10T motorized swivel head from Renishaw for CNC controlled tilting of the probe head in 7.5° steps and probe TP20.
Swivels motorized in 2 axes in 7.5° steps (max. 720 positions). A position feedback is sent to the control. The reproducibility of the swivel position +/-0.5 µm at a swivel radius of approx. 100 mm. Max. Length of the probe extension 300 mm. Max. Length of the stylus 60mm.
Benefits:
Fast swiveling of the probe.
Higher swivel accuracy of +/-0.5 µm at about 100 mm swivel radius.
An automatic stylus changer including 3 stylus modules is already included.
Higher process reliability through CNC controlled swiveling.
Finer resolution of the tilt angles (720 tilt positions).
Fully automatable.
Relatively small swivel radius.
Disadvantage:
The PH10T probe head is significantly more expensive (approx. € 7,000 more expensive) than the RTP20 probe head
The stylus length is limited to 60 mm
The TP20 stylus modules are relatively expensive at around € 900 / module
Touch points relatively low
Operation area:
Automated measuring machines with high reliability, as the probe head is CNC controlled
Shorter measuring times by swiveling the probe head quickly
Stylus lengths of up to 60 mm are sufficient
Suitable for the following applications:
The highest precision to be measured is approx. 0.014 mm
The duration of the measurement plays a medium role
The immersion depth of 60 mm is sufficient
Swivel steps of 7.5 ° are sufficient
